The Norwest OHV Club is a friendly family club with activities that cater for all types of 4WDs and varying driver experience. Activities include day trips, fun trials, ladies days, camping weekends, rally competitions, involvement with other clubs and social functions. by participating in club events you will meet a wide variety of people with varied interests brought together by their enjoyment of New Zealand's beautiful outdoor enviroment in the practicality of their 4WD. You will also learn about your vehicle and its capabilities.

Our Club is part of the New Zealand Four Wheel Drive Association and follows the principles of tread Lightly. By being associated with the NZFWDA, members can compete in the National Trial Series, against four wheelers from the rest of the country, and attend Coast to Coast Safaris and other activities organised at a national level.

 

Club Meetings

Club meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at Paddys Bar, Shamrock Drive, Kumeu, starting at 7.30pm

 

Annual Subscriptions

Club fees are currently set at $80-00 per annum. Fees are due one month after the AGM.

 

Prospective Members

You are welcome to come on a club run before applying for membership. you will be expected to join United $WD which provides you with the protection of insurance policy of the NZFWDA. Prospective members are welcome to attend the monthly meetings. All members are required to participate in a minimum of 4 events (including meetings) per annum.

 

Club Runs

There are generally 2-4 club runs every month, varying from family "shiney" trips through to tuff truck runs and trials events. We encourage all our members to participate in organizing runs during the year and seeking new land for the club to explore.
